Society
Since the great rebellion of their creations sent them underground, humans have become the most populous residents of Tamstrahd. Their presence is felt all over the cavern, and in the time that they've made it their home, humans have pushed most of the other races to the sidelines.
On the surface, there were two major human cultures that still proliferate underground: AMARA and DEVERI. Amarans lived in forests and hills, their country lush and verdant. In Tamstrahd, they've brought forth major agricultural progress in introducing modified lizards and cows for meat as well as modified methods of growing fungi, trees, and meal.
Deveri lived in the flatlands and steppes of the surface world. Historically adaptable and nomadic, Deveri people have done great work in developing both permanent and portable architecture for cave life. They've also worked both in trade and development to become great metallurgists, providing tools and weaponry for the many struggles of underground life.
